Site Clearance — your questions answered
For most sites we can attend within 24 hours to survey and quote, and start clearance the same week. Urgent handovers and lease-end deadlines can often be turned around faster — call the 24-hour line on 07988 051788 and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
It depends on the mix. Where the recoverable metal value covers the labour and transport, clearance is free and we pay you the balance. Where a site is mostly low-grade or contaminated material, we will quote a clear fixed price before we start. You will never get a surprise invoice.
Yes. We regularly phase clearance around demolition, strip-out and fit-out teams, and we can work evenings, nights and weekends so the programme is not held up. Our teams carry the usual site tickets and we can supply RAMS and insurance details in advance.
Every collection comes with a waste transfer note and full duty-of-care documentation, plus a weighbridge ticket showing exactly what left site. Payment is made by bank transfer, as required by the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013.
