What we do, and how it works
We can take frames glazed or de-glazed. De-glazed pays more, since there is no glass weight or handling to allow for, but if pulling the units is not practical on your programme we will still take them as they come.

Aluminium Windows — your questions answered
Yes. Glazed frames are collected and priced to allow for the glass weight and its disposal. If you can de-glaze on site the rate improves noticeably, so it is worth doing where your programme allows.
Slightly. Thermally broken profile contains a polyamide or resin strip that has to be separated during processing, so it grades a little below solid profile. It is still a good-value grade and we collect it routinely.
Yes, and we do it regularly. We can supply bins or a roll-on-roll-off for the frames as they come out, phase collections around your programme, and work outside occupied hours where residents or tenants are still in the building.
We are metal buyers, so uPVC is not something we pay for. If a mixed programme is producing both, we will take the aluminium and can point you towards a plastics recycler for the rest rather than leave you with half a job.
